Since 14 February 2006, PCC Rokita SA has been the owner of "IPPC for the use of the installation for manufacturing polyethers".

The ceremony of granting the permit took place at Dolnośląski Urząd Wojewódzki in Wrocław. PCC Rokita was represented by: the Chairman of the Management Board - CEO Mirosław Krutin, Director of Safety and Prevention Department Andrzej Małecki and Chief Technologist of the Polyols Business Unit (Rokopole) Jerzy Wacek. This is the first IPPC granted to PCC Rokita confirming that the Polyols installation complies with BAT requirements. Technical solutions applied in the installation enable to stand the comparison with the world most modern installations of this type and make it possible to achieve a high level of environmental protection. The application was prepared by PROZAP based on many years of experience of the Technological Department at Polyols Business Unit and Environmental Protection Department. This is the first permit granted in Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) for a chemical installation, but surely not the last one... as PCC Rokita SA itself is already preparing further 15 applications..
