Geologists were boring holes in Ekologistyka

The geological work for the purpose of constructing a vertical isolation baffle and storing wasted underground water at the site of the wastes storing facility Ekologistyka Sp. z o.o. in Brzeg Dolny have been accomplished.

On 30 September 2006, the geological work constituting the preparatory phase of the construction of a vertical isolation baffle and storing wasted underground water at the site of the wastes storing facility Ekologistyka Sp. z o.o. in Brzeg Dolny were accomplished. The project is aimed at complete elimination of the impact of the wastes storing facility on underground water, and as a result, on the Odra river.

The designed baffle shall be constructed on the length of approx. 700 m, depth of up to 20 m and is another pro-ecological investment of the PCC Rokita Group.

The construction of the isolation baffle and directing the Lutynia stream to the wastes water treatment plant (construction is about to be completed) will assure a high level of ecological security for the Odra river and the area of Brzeg Dolny.
