PCC Rokita SA was the winner of the 1st SITPChem (Polish Association of Chemical Engineers and Technicians) Chairman RESTRUCTURING LEADER Award.
Our company was selected for this prestigious award by the Award Committee composed of Professor Bogusław Buszewski - PTChem (Polish Chemical Society) Board Chairman, Konrad Jaskóła - PIPC (Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry) Council President, Jerzy Majchrzak - General Director of PIPC, Professor Jacek Kijeński - SITPChem Board Chairman, Jerzy Kropiwnicki - SITPChem Board Vice-Chairman, Jerzy Paprocki - Member of the Executive Committee of the SITPChem Board, and Anna Czumak-Bieniecka - Editor-in-Chief of the CHEMIK monthly, the Competition’s media patron.
The Restructuring Leader Award in the Chemical Company category was given to PCC Rokita SA, based in Brzeg Dolny, for its boldness and effectiveness in raising product quality, new investments and ability to quickly respond to market requirements, as well as effective cooperation with research centres.
The award ceremony took place during the 15th Seminar on the Restructuring of the Polish Chemical Industry, organised by SITPChem and PIPC. On the day prior to the announcement of the winners, numerous representatives of chemical companies listened, with great interest and even a bit of envy, to Mr Roman Bajda’s presentation on the investment accomplishments of PCC Rokita SA over the last five years.
The meeting was attended by a number of managers who knew Mr Waldemar Preussner at the time he was still a newcomer to the chemical industry. The whole PCC SE Group and PCC Rokita SA received good wishes for continued dynamic growth.
On the next day, the 26th of November 2009, the news that the 1st Restructuring Leader Award had gone to PCC Rokita SA, based in Brzeg Dolny, received a great, long round of applause.
The statuette was accepted on behalf of the Management Board by Mr R. Bajda, MSc, who represented our company at the conference together with W. Blicharczyk, MSc.
