The PCC Rokita SA Phosphorus Business Unit is increasing the prices for Roflam P flame retardant.
Among numerous phosphorus compounds, PCC Rokita focused on manufacturing phosphorus plasticizers and flame retardants used in processing plastics resulting in their increased fire resistance.
The products which delay combustion are used in many industries of the economy such as production of textiles, paper, paints, varnishes etc. However, the majority of them, almost 90%, find application in manufacturing plastics. These are mainly plastics used in the following industries: electrotechnics, electronics and telecommunication, construction and furniture manufacturing, transport and mining.
In 2005, PCC Rokita became a member of EFRA (European Flame Retardants Association) - organisation operating under the structures of CEFIC (The European Chemical Industry Council). Joining this organisation proves that the company takes particular interest in improving fire safety of used plastics in which our products are applied. Furthermore, this means we care for natural environment. EFRA recommends to use flame retardants as an effective way of improving fire safety. At the same time, the company provides sponsoring for numerous programs researching the influence of the above mentioned products on health and natural environment.
